Quitting Facebook
Anyone know good resources for quitting? If and when I leave I will probably stick around here and Twitter for a while and see what’s up.

Here is some video footage from my performance at the Midwest Electro-Music Experience. I met some really great people there. Kudos to The Irving Theater. This is one of the pieces I am working on for my next album. Will be taking a short break now to spend time in New York. Will play in the Electro Music Festival in Huguenot NY while there. Yay!

In my view (and this is my opinion) “social”-ism is a return to the view that we live in a SOCIETY in SOCIAL STRUCTURES, and this notion that “I am an individual” is myopic and incomplete. Just as your “individual” body is actually made up of trillions of human cells, each human body is a cell in a larger, global human collective, WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. Your individual body would be worth nothing if it were here by itself. Our society goes to great lengths to isolate us from each other, but we are really all one entity, made of the same atoms and molecules as the rest of the life on this planet. I think it is, in fact, a great myth to proclaim this superiority of the “individual” point of view. So what? You wouldn’t be here if not for the society around you. Do you have no compassion for other living beings whatsoever? The “money” you earn from your efforts isn’t “yours.” Money only exists because SOCIETY agrees that green pieces of paper mean something. If you REALLY want to own your own money, invent your own money! As you might guess, you’re going to have a hard time unless you can get a few other people to agree to use it. Likewise, if everyone agreed to the principle of compassion, you would have a hard time convincing people NOT to pay for universal healthcare. So in terms of “government” telling “you” what to do, we ARE the government, because we decide how it works, IN THEORY. However, these rich oligarchs are using money to buy all of the lawmakers, and we haven’t overthrown them yet. The system is only as good as the people who support it. Remember that the Founding Fathers agreed that if the system of government is no good, the people should overthrow it and start a new one. They didn’t say, “Worship The Constitution as a divine holy text,” they said “If things start to suck, amend this thing, or throw it out and start over,” because they knew power systems become entrenched and corrupted over time. This has nothing to do with healthcare or any public services, and everything to do with profit as the bottom line, and greed as a motivating factor! The system sucks because no one cares about each other, they only care about money, and they only care about themselves. In our bodies when a group of cells starts to hoard resources (ME ME ME! Mine! Mine! Gimme gimme gimme! More more more!) and multiply out of control, we call it “cancer” and we try to get rid of it!
Imagine if we had a society set up on the basis of treating each human compassionately instead of treating each human like a fat dollar $ign. If you can’t imagine that, take some time each day to practice loving-kindness meditation: http://www.wildmind.org/metta/methods_one
Strangely I don’t see how universal healthcare is “killing” Europe, in fact I believe healthcare does the opposite, no? Imagine what our governments would be like if they had compassion for all living beings instead of this selfish “I” perspective! Why are Americans so unwilling to help each other? Why don’t you care about having a healthy SOCIETY? I don’t care if I’m rich if everyone around me and including myself is dying from obesity and heart disease because of our shitty corporate food empire that the oligarchs subsidize and uphold! Money is worthless if we’re all eating poisonous food. Money is still worthless if gas prices are so expensive that no one can afford to drive anywhere and no public transportation systems exist. Money is even more worthless if everyone remains clueless because no one bothered to fund any education for their kids to learn FACTS and be taught about REAL ways to figure out how to improve society!

Edit: Cern say that this is one of several videos they have made, one for each of the possible outcomes, as though it’s a presidential election and they’ve written one speech for victory and one for defeat. That sounds a bit odd to me, but I dare say all shall become clear tomorrow. I’ve quickly […]
People believe I am what they see Me as, rather than what they do not see. But I am the Great Unseen, not what I cause Myself to be in any particular moment. In a sense, I am what I am not. It is from the Am-notness that I come, and to it I always return.

I started a podcast just using ListGarden, FeedBurner, custom hosting and my own audio software and hardware (protip: use Levelator). All in all the process was painless, just time-consuming.
